Church Plant

Someone emailed me wondering about the church plant. Due to our pastor being Bart Box, Brookhills associate pastor, I have had to lay low with really talking about it until they announced it. Monday night our core group, that has been meeting since the fall, is having another meeting with an announcement of the meeting place (which right now I know they pretty sure it will be a location downtown) and a name for the church. The first official worship service that is open to others (right now we are capped bc of space and still have things to iron out) is the first week of February...I will update this coming week.
God is good and knew our hearts longed to plant a church in Seattle and gave us a group that has come together to plant a church right in our backyard. We know this is where God has us. The core team that has been meeting together for some months is awesome. In getting to know the women, they are all so amazing and have so many different gifts. They all are very authentic and love the Lord dearly (and can handle all our junk :)). I know CJ would say the same about the men. Anyways, more details to come.
