"We want our children to be so compelled by the real Jesus that they are willing to stand with Him, giving their lives to His revolution, not in order to be religious but because there is simply no more exhilarating way to live. We want our kids to see us as revolutionaries who subvert the dominant belief systems of the world, not out of religious obligation but in wholehearted response to the person of Jesus.” {Mike Erre}

Scripture and Children
Last night at Godly Play when the story was being wrapped up, it was on Jesus dying on the cross, Hudson raised his hand and promply stated "He puts our tears in a bottle..." the teacher responded "well, not so sure about that and kept going." I had no clue what he was talking about, luckily my friend Reba did and afterward said, "Hudson quoted scripture". She sent it to me this morning and sure enough..."...put thou my tears into thy bottle..." is in Ps. 56:8. Thanks to Gmama for her mini-seminary 2 days a week :). They are mini-sponges, it is amazing.
